The news broke just hours after it was announced guard D’Angelo Russell is making his return to the floor Monday night against Sacramento. Russell hasn’t played since Feb. 8.
In 37 games this season, Beasley is averaging 19.6 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game while shooting 39.9% from 3-point range.
If Beasley missed exactly six weeks, he’d miss the remainder of Minnesota’s 2020-21 season. The Timberwolves’ final game is scheduled for May 16 against Dallas.
The Wolves and Kings tip off Monday night at 6 p.m. You can catch that game on Bally Sports Wisconsin.
