Position: HOTEL MANAGER / ACCOUNT OFFICER Urgently Needed At Ikeja
We are recruiting for a reputable luxurious hotel at Ikeja Lagos. The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years experience as a manager in a known hotel. To succeed in this position,you must have;
- At least minimum of 3years experience in such position in a well established Organisation.
Responsibilities:
We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Manager to oversee our hotel and bar operations. In this position, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and activities of Play House Hotel. Your duties will include managing employees, monitoring payments, planning budgets, marketing, coordinating, administering and evaluating Play House Hotel services and facilities. To excel in this role, you must be approachable and detailed-oriented with proven hospitality or management work experience. Our ideal candidate will also demonstrate excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills.
Education requirements:
- Graduate of relevant degree
- Outstanding writing, interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
- Exceptional leadership abilities with great attention to detail.
- Reliable and willing to carry out additional task as required.
- A team player with conflict resolution skills. Qualification requirement
- Less than 3 year in Management

And also for the ACCOUNT OFFICER
- Resolve any and all discrepancies and ensure that all departmental accounts are balanced daily
- Perform daily stock audits across including hotel room audits, bar stock audits, kitchen stock audits, main store audits etc.
- Take ownership of the main store access and controlling stock in and stock out
- Take ownership of the stock management spreadsheets for hotel, store, bar and kitchen stock and provide regular reports to the hotel leadership
- Take ownership of financial actuals and forecast spreadsheet and provide regular reports to the hotel leadership
- Manage budgeting tools
- Perform stock forecasting
- Perform daily reconciliation of cash on book vs. cash in bank
- Resolve cash on a book vs. bank discrepancies with the bank or departmental manager
- Bank excess cash above approved departmental thresholds
- Manage the release of purchase orders to suppliers for goods and services requested
- Manage the release of requisition forms to departmental heads for supplies
- Maintain an effective working relationship with internal departmental heads across the front desk, F&B and kitchen
- Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by the hotel leadership Prerequisites:
- A positive, can-do attitude and excellent communication skills.
- Highly proficient working with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel spreadsheets
- Experience working with hotel software applications Education
- Degree Level educated in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Mathematics Experience:
- Minimum 3 years experience working as an Accountant/ Auditor or Finance Controller
- Experience in the hospitality sector is a strong advantage
