Job Title: Accounting / Finance Officer

Job Summary

• The Accounting / Finance officer will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets, as well as providing management with an intelligible interpretation and reporting of financial records.

Job Description

• Monitor and track payments to all internal and external stakeholder, and reconcile accounts payable and receivables.
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
• Ensure timely Bank payments, and reconcile Bank statements.
• Audit financial transactions and documents.
• Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.
• Comply with both national and international financial practices, policies and regulations.
• Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity as when required, and manage her financial statements.
• Manage the preparation of the company’s budget.
• Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.
• Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.

Qualifications

• A minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or any related field (Certifications will be an added advantage).
• Minimum of 1-3 years of working experience in an Accounting function.
• Great communication and interpersonal skills.
