Job Title: Head of Design

Location: Ajah, Lagos

Reporting line: Managing Director / Deputy Managing Director

Job Summary

• The Head of Design is responsible for managing all aspect of architectural and construction designs. It is a leadership role, with accountability of developing & implementing ideas for interior spaces and construction.
• It will involve you using the best software particularly the in-house software to implement new designs to improve the efficiency of the design department.

Job Responsibilities

• Managing the design team as required and help develop the skills required for the design department
• Lead concept development in relation to design and creative output.
• Develop and manage productivity and to continuously improve the design teams production capabilities.
• Develop creative programs and design concepts that meets the business and clients needs.
• To ensure Production drawing and production design are delivered on time
• Provide quality control over the design team output, production output and quality of installation
• Work with other team members to deliver production drawings and projects before deadlines
• Establishing and developing best practice with the design team.
• Manage clients briefs, give directions to the production team, and monitor the progress of projects and plan.

Requirements

• B.Arch / HND & M.Sc in Architecture with a minimum of 2nd class division and at least 2years experience as an Interior Architect.
• Must be conversant with designs in office furniture, kitchen cabinets, wardrobes and must reside in Ajah or its environs.Candidate must be proficient in Architectural applications particularly on google sketch up
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
