Two Men Arrested For Robbery In Ogun
The police have arrested two suspects for robbing Crown Park – a company situated in the Ota Industrial Estate axis of Ogun State.
In a statement on Sunday, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Abimbola Oyeyemi, identified the suspects as Edehikenna Stanley and Segun Tope.
He explained that the suspects were apprehended following a distress call received by the policemen in Onipanu Divisional Headquarters that robbers have invaded the company and were holding the security men there hostage.

“Upon the distress call, the DPO Onipanu Division, CSP Bamidele Job, quickly mobilised his men and moved to the scene,” the statement read.
“On sighting the policemen, the hoodlums who have stolen two heavy industrial batteries took to flight, but they were hotly chased and two of them were apprehended.”
According to the command’s spokesman, two industrial batteries, a toy gun, and two knives with which the suspects used to instil fear in the mind of the security men were recovered from them.
In his reaction, the Commissioner of Police in Ogun, Lanre Bankole, ordered the transfer of the suspects to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for further action.
