Facility Manager at OWPPiN Limited

OWPPiN Limited, a wood, paper and pulp platform focused on producing high quality wood derived products in Nigeria, for local and global consumption.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Location: Ondo

Key Responsibilities

Performing routine maintenance on facilities and making repairs as needed
Maintaining day-to-day operations of facilities, such as delegating or completing maintenance orders
Creating reports on maintenance, repairs, safety and other occurrences for supervisors and other relevant staff
Preparing facilities for changing weather conditions
Collaborating with building owners and upper management on budgeting for facilities needs
Planning and coordinating all installations and refurbishments
Managing the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards
Conduct routine inspection of all facilities and infrastructure to ascertain their state and working conditions
Oversee the execution of all routine maintenance, renovations and refurbishment works and activities for OWPPiN
Ensure timely and adequate repairs and maintenance of all faulty equipment and facilities
Oversee the management and coordination of the activities of outsourced staff (cleaners, gardeners, artisans etc.)
Track global and local leading practices in facilities management and proffer relevant recommendations to the CFO.

Qualifications / Experience

Degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
Must be able to pass an aptitude and practical tests
Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in Maintenance roles in a manufacturing setting
Strong technical acumen and hardworking
Must be able to work in Ondo State
Demonstrative ability to follow instructions
Good communication, problem solving and supervisory skills
High sense of responsibility and accountability
High integrity and ethical standards
History of stable employment
History of professional accomplishments
Credible and positive references, which will be independently verified
Must have a guarantor for one-month compensation.
