Job Description & Summary
- We are currently seeking to hire an economist on a part-time basis in the Knowledge Zone (KZ) department.
- The candidate should have significant experience in academia (University), as well as in developing research publications / economic papers.
- The qualified candidate must be thoroughly grounded in economic modelling, analysis, as well as research, data collection, validation, and analysis.

Requirements
- A PhD, M.sC. and B.sC. in Economics from a reputable University.
- 5+ years relevant work experience in an academic institution conducting research, quantitative analysis, and economic modelling.
- 7+ years’ relevant experience in developing academic papers on macroeconomic topics and sectors evidenced by published works in journals and other platforms.
- Proficiency in relevant statistical software (E-Views, Stata, Matlab etc.), as well as the use of Microsoft Excel to build models.
- A good team player who is dedicated to delivering on tasks within specified deadline.
Travel Requirements:
- Up to 20% .
