Job Description

The Assistant CSO reports directly to & provides assistance to CSO in Security Management. Deputy CSO (Ex Forec men should apply).

Essential Duties

Assists in the completion of CSO duties that do not require CSO’s presence
Has expertise in all operations, functions, and scope of Industrial Security
Asist the CSO in Security Training
Conduct investigations as detailed by the CSO.
Enters and updates information including office and field contacts, outgoing and incoming correspondence, and telephone calls
Conduct guarantors verification exercise.
Reviews CCTV information.
Maintains and updates information into the Security Database.
Contributes to and helps create a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a cooperative and amicable manner with supervisors, subordinates, other staff and members of the public
Works overtime as may be required.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Write Weekly Security Report.

Requirements

B.Sc Degree holder from a recognised University.
ExMilitary, ExDSS Operative or Police Detective Officer with not less than 10 years in service.
At least two (2) years of substantive work in the Criminal & Investigative Department (must demonstrate experience in application of case management)
Experience in Routine clerical & administrative work is required.
Good oral and written communication skills & good working knowledge of current Security Standards and Practices.
Practical knowledge & use of computer system (Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft word etc).
Valid Drivers’ License
Must be IT savvy.
