Job Description
- In preparations for our operations in Kano, Nigeriat we are looking for an ambitious, driven and outgoing Senior Account Manager with a proven track record of corporate and trade sales to be based in Kano, Nigeria.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of local accounts based in Kano
- Develop and maintain a long-term strategic relationship with Qatar Airways’ Trade partners and corporate clients and government at local and country level
- Contribute to the formulation and implementation of QR sales strategy to maximize short and long term revenue opportunities, reduce cost of sale and generate channel shift where appropriate
- Establish a robust pipeline of new business opportunities,
- Recommend pricing requests from Corporates/Trade and be responsible for individual budgets
- Forge strong relationships with community associations, influencers and leaders to secure brand loyalty
- Represent Qatar Airways in local business associations, chambers of commerce and community groups

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with 5 years of job-related experience
- Customer facing experience.
- Experience in negotiating contracts.
- Experience in Airline Sales and Marketing.
- Good understanding of QR’s systems and interpretation of available data.
- Able to spot and interpret market trends.
- PC literate with knowledge of Word/PowerPoint/Excel.
- Influencing skills in order to deal with internal and external customers.
- Command of English language.
