18-Year-Old Adeoye Charged With Murder In London
An eighteen-year-old Timothy Adeoye has been charged with murder in the United Kingdom, police authorities say.
Taking to Twitter in the early hours of Sunday, the UK Metropolitan Police said Adeoye, of no fixed address, was charged with the murder of Donovan Allen on the evening of February 7.
The victim, of Hemel Hempstead Hertfordshire, was found in Ayley Croft, Enfield, and died at the scene despite the efforts of the emergency services to save him.
A post-mortem examination indicated that Allen died from a single stab wound to the chest. The suspect faces three counts of attempted robbery, possession of an offensive weapon, and threatening a person with a blade in a public place.
“Detectives investigating the fatal stabbing of 18-year-old Donovan Allen in Enfield have charged a man with his murder,” UK police said in a statement.
“Police were called at 18:10hrs on Monday, 7 February to reports of a stabbing on Ayley Croft in Enfield. Officers attended along with paramedics from the London Ambulance Service and found Donovan injured.”
The police added that Adeoye will appear in custody at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Monday, February 14.
