Job Title: Talent Acquisition Strategist

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

  • The Talent Acquisition Strategist will be responsible for the creation and execution of a comprehensive, multi-faceted recruitment strategy to reach and recruit high talent individuals of different demographics, backgrounds and experiences in support of the Company’s values and commitment to diversity and inclusion.
  • He/she will also plan, monitor, promote and maintain a positive and effective candidate experience and employer brand, ranging from the EVP to information dissemination and assimilation, both internally and externally.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop, recommend and implement ideas and solutions that will contribute to the Company’s diversity and inclusion strategy Support multiple business lines and manage the end-to-end recruitment cycle for select positions.
  • Develop and implement a progressive sourcing strategy to increase diverse talent acquisition and retention.
  • Create and drive innovative recruitment methods to build a continuous pipeline to reach passive job seekers and to source difficult to fill positions.
  • Analyze the recruitment process to identify efficient and improvement opportunities and periodically provide the unit’s activity report for management.
  • Define overall plan and strategy for recruitment, creating a roadmap for online and offline candidate sourcing.
  • Ensure and take charge of brand employee awareness that enhances attracting the best candidates.
  • Increase the number of qualified applications of candidates who visit the career portal and ensure all candidates have a positive online experience
  • Analyzing recruitment trends for attracting the best talent through research and leveraging on acquired data to build and expand metrics that measure the effectiveness
  • Overseeing recruitment efforts; remaining current on trends and innovative recruitment techniques in order to compete in the market and within the industry
  • Define overall plan and strategy for recruitment, creating a roadmap for online and offline candidate sourcing.
  • Increase the number of qualified applications of candidates who visit the career portal and ensure all candidates have a positive online experience
  • Analyzing recruitment trends for attracting the best talent through research and leveraging on acquired data to build and expand metrics that measure the effectiveness
  • Any other tasks may be assigned by the line manager, HOD or management.
  • Able to outline expectations for the recruitment process to source and select the best-qualified candidate(s) for the position
  • Sets expectations for all stakeholders in the hiring process; gains agreement on schedules and responsibilities
  • Must have strong initiative and work well under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to exercise consistent judgment and discretion when working with hiring managers and candidates.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree with 3 – 5 years work experience.
