The Position and Duties

• The University Registrar is a Principal Officer and the Chief Administrative Officer of the University, who is responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the day-to-day administration of the University except for financial matters which fall within the purview of the Bursar.

• Candidate must possess a First Degree of not less than second class division and a Master’s Degree, both from recognized University with at least 10 years post-qualification cognate experience, at least 5 years of the experience should be in a higher institution especially a university.
• Candidate must have served in a position not below Principal Assistant Cadre in an institution of higher learning at the time of submitting an application for this vacancy.
• Possession of a Ph.D. and membership of recognized professional bodies would be an added advantage.
• Candidates must not be above 50 years old at the time of appointment.

Requirements

• Candidates must possess a First Degree of not less than second class upper division, a Master’s Degree and a Ph.D Degree, (MBBS and Fellowship) in the appropriate discipline applied for, with at least two (2) years teaching experience in a University as a Lecturer II.
• Candidates must possess scholarly peer reviewed publications in both local and international journals as proof of area of specialisation within departmental fields of study.
• Candidates must not be above 45 years old at the time of appointment.
