We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Project Planning & Scheduling Engineer
Location: Lagos
Responsibilities
- Implement the work schedule and monitor the progress of the work for timely execution of the project through daily/weekly/monthly reports with respect to review of the overall project
- Co-ordinate internal project team reviews followed by an approval and review by the client of the work schedule, progress measurement, and reporting systems
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining an effective scheduling management system.
- Coordinating project timelines with internal departments and external stakeholders.
- Monitoring project timelines and deadlines.
- Identifying potential project schedule delays and facilitating intervention in a timeous manner.
- Assist planning and development team to develop and maintain periodic status reports to keep management informed on project performance and progress.
- Accommodating updates and changes to project schedules.
- Responsible for monitoring and checking site installations performed by subcontractors to ensure its adherence to the drawings and specifications
- Recommending actions to keep projects within budget, and completed on time.
- Keeping stakeholders informed of revised project timelines and deadlines.
- Documenting project scheduling processes and maintaining records.
- Maintain project risk register to ensure that risks are effectively managed to minimize their impact on the schedule, scope, and budget of projects
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Head, Panning and Control.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management or Engineering
- Minimum of 5 cognate years of experience as a project scheduler in the real estate industry.
- Advanced proficiency in project scheduling software, such asMS Projects.
- Certification as a PMI scheduling professional (PMI-SP) will be an advantage
- Extensive experience in schedule planning and management.
- Real Estate Experience is a strong requirement
- Project documentation skills
- Familiar with the use of Primavera P6
- Good knowledge of Microsoft applications.
- Advanced ability to evaluate project progress and facilitate interventions.
- Excellent organisational skills.
