Growth in Value Alliance (GVA) Partners Limited – Our client is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior NOC Monitoring Engineer

Location: Lagos
Slot: 4

Responsibilities

• Monitor alerts related Server, Network, Storage and Database using Monitoring tools
• Ensure 100% of committed deliverables are met
• Sending required Reports and Dashboards
• Ensure monitoring team follows the defined policies and procedures assigned to the Management of alerts raised by infrastructure elements
• Perform daily health checks (Network, Servers & Datacentre)
• Perform operations based on the documented procedures
• Ensure proper tracking of the alerts/requests received until closure
• Ensure first cut notification about major incident sent to respective stake holders on preliminary information.
• Timely Escalate the issues to the next level & Communication will be sent to all the resolver groups.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a similar field
• Minimum of 6 years’ experience as a NOC Engineer
• Knowledge of Windows & Network Infrastructure
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
