Job Title: Sales Executive – Medical Devices
Location: Ojota, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Purpose
- The Sales Executive will be responsible for generating leads and meeting sales goals. Duties will include sales presentations/pitches and Product/Service demonstrations, as well as negotiating contracts with potential clients.
- In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of the sales process and dynamics, and also superb interpersonal skills. Previous experience in a sales role is an advantage.
Job Responsibilities
- Generating leads.
- Meeting or exceeding sales/client recruitment goals.
- Negotiating all contracts with prospective clients.
- Client/Account management
- Preparing weekly and monthly reports.
- Making marketing pitches to a range of prospective clients.
- Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs.
- Understanding and promoting company programs.
- Obtaining deposits and balance of payment from clients.
- Preparing and submitting sales contracts for orders.
- Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote the company’s products and services.
- Maintaining all sales related database

Key Result Area 1: Sales Management:
- 100% Achievement of financial targets
Key Result Area 2: Partner Relationship Management:
- Sufficient knowledge of tools, processes and products and service
Key Result Area 3: Account Management:
- 100% Achievement in customer engagement/80% Net promoter score
Key Result Area 4: Database Management:
- Optimal/Updated Contact Master List (Minimum 300 contacts)
Key Result Area 5: Business Development:
- Availability and implementation of a business plan for the Territory
Key Performance Indicators
- KPI 1: >90% – Facilitate 400 recordings per quarter
- KPI 2: 100% – Recruit 15 new clients every month
- KPI 3: >90% – Conduct 15 pitches weekly
- KPI 4: >90% – Sales- Value and Volume
- KPI 5: 100%
Job Specification
- Education: First Degree.
- Experience: 1 – 3 years experience in Sales.
Key Competencies Requirements:
Technical:
- Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
- A commitment to excellent customer service.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
- Experience of using computers for a variety of tasks.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including word, excel, PowerPoint and outlook.
- Able to work with minimal supervision and in a fast paced environment
