The company represents a host of brands in FMCG and Appliances / Electronics for distribution in Nigeria. The Superbrandz management team has collective professional experience of over 75 years in distribution in Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Area Sales Manager (Home and Personal Care Products)

Location: Trade Fair, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

  • Market supervision – Price Check, Competition check, new development affecting the business, etc.
  • Provide weekly/monthly sales & collection forecasts for the assigned territory.
  • To manage sales of the company’s products and after sales services in defined geographical areas.
  • Execute the sales and marketing plan for the territory as agreed with the Branch Manager / NSM.
  • Designing and implementing a strategic business / sales plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong brand presence in the market.
  • Achieve availability & display of our model mix products across the respective outlets.
  • Identify, create and execute opportunities with Traditional trade partner’s to increase sell-in/sell-out.
  • Monitoring merchandiser’s target setting and daily sales activity at available Traditional trade outlets.
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs in terms of marketing and sell out support.
  • Carry out routine balance confirmation every month from his existing dealer’s to have transparency in the business.
  • Ensure stocks are allocated based on the payment limits and financial capacity of the dealer.
  • Ensure collections are proportionate to sales.
  • Report excess outstanding/defaults to the reporting manager.
  • Timely identify dented, defected & damaged stock & report to the reporting manager.
  • Establish, maintain and expand current customer base.
  • Increase business opportunities through various routes to market ( Online / B2B)
  • Implement company policies, systems, BTL / promotional activities.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess an HND qualification
  • At least 5 years’ experience in Sales of Home and Personal Care products.
  • Ability to speak Igbo.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a FMCG sales environment
  • Territory management skills (customer/outlet mapping, call/route plan, volume planning and market analysis)
  • Understanding of strategic sales process and the steps necessary to drive sales results
  • Demonstrated experience in presenting and managing corporate player’s ( B2B ) for sales and patronizing our brands.

Salary
N155,000 Net + other benefits.
