College football odds Week 1: How to bet North Dakota-Nebraska
North Dakota heads south to Nebraska to face the Cornhuskers for a Saturday afternoon matchup to kick off the first full week of the 2022 college football season.
The Cornhuskers are coming off a 3-9 season in 2021 and a less than ideal start to their 2022 season after dropping their first game in Dublin, Ireland, to Northwestern, 31-28.
North Dakota is coming off a 5-6 season, where they struggled to beat ranked opponents.
Here’s everything you need from a betting perspective on Saturday afternoon’s North Dakota-Nebraska game, from the point spread, moneyline, total over/under and expert pick (odds via FOX Bet).
North Dakota @ Nebraska (12:30 p.m. ET Saturday, ESPN)
Point spread: Nebraska -23.5 to win (Nebraska favored to win by more than 23.5 points, otherwise North Dakota covers)
Moneyline: Nebraska -2000 favorite to win (bet $10 to win $10.50 total); North Dakota +800 underdog to win (bet $10 to win 90 total)
Total scoring over/under: 51.5 points scored by both teams combined
Pick via FOX Sports Betting Analyst Sam Panayotovich:
“Nobody enjoys fading Scott Frost as much as I do, but this is a nightmare spot for North Dakota having to face Nebraska off the Huskers’ embarrassment in Dublin,” he said. “Multiple people around Lincoln have told me that the directive is simple: run this sucker up.
“We’ll return to shorting the Huskers soon enough, but they’re going to take all their frustrations out on North Dakota and win this game by 30-plus.”
PICK: Nebraska (-23.5 at FOX Bet) to win by more than 23.5 points
