Job Title: Sales Development Representative

Job Summary
- Finding potential clients for our company and starting new relationships with interested clients. This is a permanent position and reports to the SDR Lead
Job Responsibilities
- Day-to-day, you will help us generate leads of prospective clients in countries in Africa
- You will Generate and qualify new leads
- Promote products & services
- Develop and maintain customer relationships
- Meet sales revenue targets
- Effectively use CRM tools
- Focus on outreach, prospecting and lead qualification
- Educate leads and gather feedback from them
- Gather feedback from customers
- Set-up meetings and demo with potential clients
- Report to the SDR Lead In your first month you’ll Get up-to-speed on our current objectives and our Sales roadmap across our target market.
- You’ll need to quickly understand how the company’s product works, Make impactful presentations,
- Learn who our ideal customers are, how to successfully negotiate, how to close effectively and how we manage our present clients.
- Seek out new customers proactively and efficiently through the current technologies such as phone calls, emails, social media accounts (e.g., LinkedIn), etc.
- Perform regular follow-ups through phone calls, emails, or social media to retain the existing customers.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in Sales or similar role
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent persuasive, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good presentation skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Have a good knowledge of G Suite’s content collaboration tools and CRM software
- Strong background and understanding of customer service principles
- Drive, stamina and self motivation
