Rabo Na Jama (RBNJF) is an indigenous, Non-profit, Non-religious foundation that seeks to empower vulnerable groups including women and children; Internally Displaced Persons; Persons with disabilities; Unemployed/underemployed youths by improving their livelihood through promoting access to education and marketable skills, cultural reorientation, and basic amenities. The mission of RBNJF is to contribute to sustainable livelihood and improved security in the communities where we work.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Project Assistant

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Supports the PM on project phase in, phase out, transition and sustainability planning and execution of projects as required.
  • Support other project stakeholders in providing comprehensive documentation at every stage of the project lifecycle.
  • Support the PM as they conduct regular meetings with different project lifecycle.
  • Support the PM as they provide strong servant leadership, encourage, support, coach, and mentor the project team, ensuring capacity is built and appropriate results are attained.
  • Support the PM as they develop and ensure appropriate tools and strategy to monitor the progress, quality and impact of the project and its implementation.
  • Positively contribute to resolving issues that come up during project implementation. Immediately communicate significant issues that may come across to PM.
  • Support the PM in the recruitment process for the project team.
  • Contribute to ensuring that systems are in place to support effective project compliance and positive audit results, and that other colleagues understands this system and follow it accordingly.
  • Supports the PM as they conduct the dissemination of lessons-learnt and best practices of projects.
  • Supports the PM as they facilitate for building capacity of Project Team and implementing partners.
  • Capture evidence of good practices on a regular basis.
  • Qualitive reporting and implementation models ensured.
  • Maintain database management in Horizon for Project as per requirement.
  • Develop reports as and when required.
  • Monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, annual and other program and financial reports prepared and in placed and documented in time aligning with project design and donor requirement.
  • Supports the PM with high quality coordination, document review and document management of all projects.
  • Supports the PM in their quest to ensure the highest quality output on projects.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with minimum of 5 years relevant work experience.
