Job Title: HR / Admin Officer
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Main Purpose
- The HR / Admin Officer reports to the Legal Manager with a dotted reporting line to the Managing Director and will be responsible for providing strategic oversight and direction for the Administration and Human Resource function.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
- Providing counselling on policies and procedures
- Being actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process
- Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems

- Create and implement effective on boarding plans
- Develop training and development programs
- Sock Taking
- Assist in performance management processes
- Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues
- Maintain employee records (attendance, EEO data etc.) according to policy and legal requirements
- Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance.
- Maintain historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system.
The Person
- Male preferred (for gender balance)
- Proven working experience as HR/Admin Officer
- People oriented and results driven.
- Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics.
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
- Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
