McCarthy on track to lose 5th vote for House speaker
House GOP leader Kevin McCarthy again failed to secure the necessary 218 votes to be the next House speaker on Wednesday, splitting the vote between Rep.-elects Hakeem Jeffries and Byron Donalds.
