GOP holdout Dan Bishop says he will resign if bid to stop McCarthy fails
North Carolina Republican Dan Bishop, who is one of the 20 House Republicans opposing GOP leader Kevin McCarthy’s candidacy for speaker, said he will resign if the House does not make institutional changes demanded by the holdouts.
