Twins-Tigers game Friday postponed until May 11

With much of the state once again covered in snow, the Minnesota Twins are postponing Friday’s game, the team announced Thursday.

Originally scheduled to take on the Detroit Tigers at 7:10 p.m., the two teams will instead square off as part of a split doubleheader Saturday, May 11 at 1:10 p.m. and 7:10 p.m.

The Twins were set to open a seven-game homestand made up of a three-game series with the Tigers and a four-game series with the Toronto Blue Jays.
