Nine Suspected Kidnappers, Cattle Rustlers Arrested In Taraba

Nine suspected kidnappers and cattle rustlers have been arrested by the police in Taraba state in a special operation codenamed “puff adder”.

While parading the suspects in Jalingo the state capital, the commissioner of police Mr. Al-kassim Sanusi said they had been arrested in connection with the murder and illegal possession of firearms.

Mr Sanusi explained that the operation is in line with a directive from the Inspector General of police to flush out criminals from all hideouts and secure the state.

He also asked members of the public to assist the police with useful information that could lead to the arrest of those causing mayhem in the state.
