Business Development Manager at FarmAgric
FarmAgric is technology-driven agricultural company that empowers farmers by providing necessary funds and inputs, through funds raised from the investing public. FarmAgric is poised to solve the persistent problem caused by lack of funds in the agricultural sector.
In Nigeria, there exists a large number of farmers who have vast arable land but lack the required capital to cultivate these lands. Conversely, a lot of Nigerians are on the lookout for investment opportunities with good returns.
These two sects have been identified by FarmAgric, and what we do is fill the needs of both sects by connecting one to the other.
Qualification and Experience Required:
- B.Sc/HND or equivalent in Marketing or related fields
- 5 – 15 years experience in sales/marketing
- Established record of success in business development
Required Skills:
- Ability to communicate, convince and convert prospects to clients (B2B/B2C)
- Ability to manage human and material resources remotely
- Impeccable writing and oratory skills
- Ability to build a rapport and credibility with prospective clients
- Resilience and tenacity
- Integrity, drive and ability to work under pressure
- Sound analytical reasoning
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft office package
Job Description:
FarmAgric, an agric-tech company headquartered in Lagos with a focus on connecting farmers to investors and providing inputs to enhance farming activities and produce. The company is looking to engage the services of a business development manager to act as a liaison between the company and its existing and prospective clients which include individuals and corporate entities.
Job Functions:
- Enhance existing strategies and recommend new brand positioning and promotion strategies to management
- Deliver efficient multi-channel marketing strategies
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns to enhance promotion and sign ups
- Manage the overall organizational vision with external government and private enterprises
- Align prospective clients’ goals with solutions the company can provide
