5 things learned from Bucks-Celtics Game 3
As most Bucks fans know, Eric Bledsoe had his struggles in last year’s playoff series against the Celtics, especially in Boston (although it’s largely forgotten he had 23 points on 9-of-12 shooting in Game 7). Maybe something about Boston gets in his head. Anyway, Bledsoe picked up three fouls in the first half and his shot was off all game. Nevertheless, even with foul trouble, Bledsoe didn’t back off defensively in the second half – he didn’t commit another foul. And despite making only 3 of 14 shots, when Boston got with seven points with 1:20 left and appeared poised ready to seize momentum and make a final run, it was Bledsoe who took it to the Celtics, blowing past Kyrie Irving for a layup. When Gordon Hayward missed a jumper on Boston’s next possession, the game was all but over.
