GBC Professional Services – Our client in the Spa industry is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Responsibilities

Manage financial operations.
Documents financial transactions inline with partnership accounting model
Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.
Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
Guides accounting clerical staff
Reconciles financial discrepancies
Maintains financial security by following internal controls.
Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
Prepares special financial reports

Requirements

Proven working experience of about 3 years in Accounting or similar functions
Proper understanding and hands-on experience in the use of automated accounting system
Good management skills
Attention to detail.
