Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help us architect and build performant backend systems for our clients on a wide variety of applications.

Requirements

6+ years of industry experience in a Software Engineering (Backend) role and building large scale data platforms
Strong experience in a programming language – preferably Python, Go Lang, Ruby or JavaScript
Ability to drive design, requirements engineering, scrum execution, and technical discussions
Experience in architecting platform capabilities keeping reusability, scalability, and adoption in mind
Thorough knowledge of object-oriented programming and microservices architecture with a deep understanding of big data and container virtualization technologies.
Strong experience in middleware layer application development and troubleshooting with an understanding of application performance engineering
Excellent appreciation of relational database design and development
Broad expertise with data transmission/exchange standards like XML, JSON, X/HTML.
Excellent understanding of cloud services (AWS/GCP)
Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis abilities
Strong understanding of key security concepts and patterns
