We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Operator – Environment

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Job type: Full-time

Duties and Responsibilities
Amongst other duties, the Process Operator- will;

Operate the Biological Treatment System (BTS) plant and associated process areas
Execute quality control checks and analyses, including coaching of other team members and supporting the Process Artisan in carrying out asset care activities
Ensure environmental compliance across site to the VPO Environment pillar
Operate machine and equipment according to the work instructions
Operate and control the process according to SOP’s
Conduct autonomous maintenance
Apply the Manufacturing Way principles and practices
Adhere to safe working practices at all times.
Monitor and control the process
Maintain housekeeping standards in his area of operation

Qualifications and Experience
The occupants of this position should possess:

B.Eng/BSc/HND in Engineering or its equivalent
6 Months on the job training
Previous experience in a process controlled manufacturing environment, ideally in food FMCG products would be an advantage
Ideally, a process understanding of the Brewing process Value Chain from raw materials transfer to BBT (desired not essential)
Minimum 12 month’s on the job training, SCAP process (internal candidates only)
2 – 5 Years’ experience in a brewing/QA environment and/or packaging or water treatment environment
