We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Chef
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- Cooks guests’ orders according to their preferences. Must be skilled in preparing intercontinental and local dishes.
- Employs food safety best practices and makes sure that all kitchen staff members do the same
- oversee the day-to-day running of the kitchen, order food and undertake the kitchen inventory
- Make sure that the restaurant or hotel keeps up with new trends in the industry
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary Arts
- Any other form of certification in catering would be of added advantage
- At least 3 years of work experience as a chef in any good and reputable restaurant
- Must be creative and proactive in attending to the various needs of customers.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- A respectable knowledge of food handling and environmental sanitation standards
