Berrios lived up to his longstanding “La Machina” nickname Monday, going a season-high eight innings in a loss to the Red Sox. Berrios matched his season high with 10 strikeouts, allowing just five hits and an earned run with no walks. He’s up to five straight quality starts, and has been among the league’s best pitchers since that run began.
