FC Cincinnati ends skid, top Dynamo 3-2

CINCINNATI (AP) — Rashawn Dally and Victor Ulloa scored their first goals and FC Cincinnati rebounded from a dismal outing with a 3-2 win over the Houston Dynamo on Saturday night, ending a six-game losing streak.

Kekuta Manneh scored his team-leading third goal in the 29th minute to give Cincinnati the lead. Dally, a rookie, earned his goal in the 38th minute, sending a hard shot after a strong play off a tackle by Mathieu Deplagne.

Cincinnati (4-13-2), which lost 7-1 to Minnesota in its last game, went up 3-0 when Ulloa’s straight-on shot from rolled through the legs of Dynamo keeper Joe Willis.

Houston (8-7-3) made it a match with Romell Quioto scoring on a penalty kick in the 79th minute for his first of the season and Nick Hagglund adding an own goal two minutes later. The Dynamo are unbeaten at home and 1-7-0 on the road. Houston pressed hard in the closing minutes, including four straight corners as regulation time turned into stoppage, but could not connect.
