We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Account Officer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

Creating detailed journal entries and post them to the general ledger (GL) to track all income statements and expenses
Handlingall accounts payable and receivable on a daily basis to make sure each invoice and expense report is accurate
Reconcilingall business accounts to ensure records match up and no transaction is lost
Facilitatingall outgoing cheques and distributing cheques as necessary.
Evaluatingfinancial operations to recommend best-practices, identify issues and strategize solutions that will help the organization run efficiently.
ReceivingArtisan’s invoices and ensure prompt settlement for payment.
Preparingmonthly and quarterly reports (income, expenditure, landlord account etc.) using standard best practices.
Assisting the core team with other accounting duties as needed
Preparingaccounts and tax returns and ensure taxes are paid properly as and when due.
Maintaining relationship with the organization’s bank account officers and carry out periodic bank reconciliations where required.
Remiting to Landlords.
