Location: Ikotun, Lagos

Job Description
- We require the services of an Accountant who will manage all accounting processes for the organization across its various branches.
- As an accountant, you will be expected to provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data, designing, maintenance and implementation accounting systems.
- You will also be expected to carry out the systematic classification and assessment of accounting data and preparation of related managerial and financial reports.
Responsibilities
A snapshot of your responsibilities include:
- Review and prepare financial statements and accounting reports for management.
- Perform the processing and recording of accounts payable transactions and ensure that all invoices and staff reimbursements are paid accurately and in accordance with finance policies and procedures.
- Provide advice to the organization on taxation, purchases, and financing.
- Analyze financial information and summarize financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheet profit and loss statements and other reports.
- Prepare and analyze the weekly/monthly budget/forecast to actual variance reports for the whole community.
- Develop budget and accounting policies and resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Assist the Auditor when applicable by providing supporting documentation and/or information on the internal processes required for Audit.
- Responsible for day-to-day finance and accounting operations.
- Operate bookkeeping and accounting systems.
- Manage the Petty Cash reconciliation.
Qualifications
- B.Sc / HND in any other relevant field.
- 2-4 years relevant experience as an accountant or a finance officer.
- Experience with Oil and gas marketing/distribution will be an added advantage.
- ICAN or ACCA qualificationis a must.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft office package.
