Job Description
- The Pragma Corporation is recruiting an Admin and Finance Manager to be based in Abuja, Nigeria to support its efforts under West Africa Trade and Investment Hub program.
Office Manager Role:
- The Admin and Finance Manager will be based full-time in Abuja, Nigeria, and be responsible for the project administrative management and supporting the financial operations of the Pragma corporation in the Abuja office.
- The Admin and Finance Manager will report to the Nigeria Team Leader who will be based in Abuja as well. In additional to supporting project Administrative activities, the Admin and Finance Manager will oversee administrative, human resources, and financial matters for the Pragma Corporation office in Abuja.
- She/he will serve as first point of contact on a broad spectrum of office management related issues, including, but not limited to, assisting project team members in scheduling, and following up on, meetings with government, non-profit and private sector partners, and in making logistical arrangements. The Office Manager must provide excellent customer service to clients, staff, and partners.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee administrative, financial, HR and IT operations of the Abuja office (including both support for project activities and Pragma activities in particular)
- Serve as a liaison for The Pragma Corporation in Nigeria including producing necessary financial reports, including monthly expense reports, monthly cash forecasting, and monthly bank reconciliation
- Other related duties as assigned by the Home Office and by the direct supervisor in Abuja Office
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- 5+ years of relevant experience and progressive responsibility in office administration
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in an administrative role for donor funded projects
- Excellent communications and personnel management skills and ability to relate to people at all levels of an organization and of different multi-cultural backgrounds
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office suite, and other relevant software
- Fluency in English is required
