Job Title: Assistant Sales Lead
Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Responsibilities
- Continually meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- Supervising and guiding the sales team as well as monitoring the performance of the sales team
- Communicate the day-to-day sales goals and strategies to subordinate employees, promoting attentive and individualized customer service (as well as handling any customer complaints), and initiating and closing sales
- Building and maintaining good working relationships with sales staff/customers.
- Identifying opportunities and strategies to increase sales.
- Regularly attending & organizing sales meetings and training sessions.
- Performing all duties of the Sales leader in cases of absence or emergency.
- Assistant sales leader may have to fill in for their supervising sales leader to ensure smooth and uninterrupted sales service
- Other responsibilities may be assigned from the supervising sales leader
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related field in the Pharmaceutical industry is an added advantage
- 5 years+ proven experience in sales in pharma industry
- Area/ Territory Manager in pharma industry with experience managing sales reps across Nigeria
- Experience achieving monthly sales of 100M NGN+ through leading sales reps across Nigeria
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office & Google Workspace applications
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong management and leadership skills
- Effective communication skills
- Exceptional customer service skills.
Salary
N250,000 – N300,000 (plus other benefits and commission)
