Afobec produces quality purified drinking sachets and bottled water. It supplies to customers wholesale. It’s customers include hotels, eateries, fast food, pop-shop resellers, and individual bulk buyers. At the heart of Afobec is a grassroots movement for empowerment to better the health and life of people in society.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Bagger

Location: Ubahadara, Nempi, Oru West LGA, Imo
Slots: 6 Openings
Employment Type: Full-time (In person)
Reporting to: Production Supervisor
Employer Industry: Production and Manufacturing
Working Week: Monday to Saturday – 8:30 am – 4:00 pm.

Job Purpose

• The Bagger will be responsible for bagging the sachet water produced by the machine operator and assisting in running the operations of the production department where necessary.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Bags water as the machine operator produces.
• Assist the machine operator was necessary for manning the necessary production machines.
• Liaise with the production manager to create SOPs for the sachet water bagging process when required
• Manage loaders were necessary to avoid leakage of bagged waters.

Qualifications Required

• Minimum of SSCE or equivalent in any discipline.
• Ideally, 2 – 5 years of experience working as a bagger with a reputable pure water company.

Skills Required:

• Sound knowledge of water bags and machines
• Ability to work well independently and without supervision

• Ability to work under pressure.

Job Expectations
We expect that for this role, you should be:

• Able to bag 500 – 800 Bags per day.
• Adhere to quality standards consistently without fail.

Working Condition:

• This job requires a lot of sitting, standing, and lifting. It’s prone to loud noise as a result of the officefactory setting where work is done.
