Blais (false positive) will play tonight vs. Kings
The St. Louis Blues, in dire need of available forwards, get one back Monday night vs. the Los Angeles Kings.
Coach Craig Berube said Sammy Blais, who was placed on the COVID-19 list last week and missed Saturday’s loss to San Jose, had a false positive test and will be “good to go” vs. the Kings.
“We can use him,” said Berube, who had said that Jake Walman, one of the team’s young defensemen, would play forward for a second time while the Blues dealt with an abundance of injuries up front. “… We’re fortunate there and we escape one, which is good. We need the bodies right now, too.”

Berube also said Tyler Bozak (upper body) skated Monday morning, but the team would not be making any decisions about his return to action right away. The forward has not played since Jan. 26.
“Hopefully, he doesn’t have any issues and he feels good, then he can get more of a practice tomorrow and keep building off that, and we’ll see where he’s at in a couple days,” he said.
