Bozak (upper body) to miss Blues-Knights game Thursday
The hit on Tyler Bozak that Blues teammate Justin Faulk took exception to was serious enough that Bozak will miss Thursday’s rematch with the Vegas Golden Knights.
Blues coach Craig Berube said the forward won’t play Thursday after getting hit by Vegas’ Mark Stone in the second period of St. Louis’ 5-4 win Tuesday. He is out with an upper-body injury and is listed as day-to-day.
Faulk later took up the matter with Stone, engaging in the Blues’ first fight of the season. Both Faulk and Stone were given two-minute minor fighting penalties.
Yeah, we’re thinking this Blues-Golden Knights divisional rivalry is gonna be a good one.
