Brewers’ Grandal showcasing All-Star worthy bat

Grandal padded his All-Star resume by tallying his fourth multi-hit game of the month Tuesday when he went 3-for-5 with a homer, a double and four RBI in Milwaukee’s 10-8 loss to Houston. Unfortunately, Grandal is on the outside looking in when it comes to the primary All-Star Game voting — but it shouldn’t be that way. He has 195,922 votes, which is fifth among National League catchers behind Chicago’s Willson Contreras, Atlanta’s Brian McCann, Philadelphia’s J.T. Realmuto and St. Louis’ Yadier Molina. However, among all NL catchers, Grandal ranks first in batting average (.282), slugging percentage (.544) and homers (14). He’s tied for first in on-base percentage (.381) and RBI (36), and he comes in at second in hits (58). Vote for this man.
