Milwaukee acquired Urias in the offseason, trading Zach Davies and outfielder Trent Grisham to San Diego in exchange for the infielder and left-hander Eric Lauer.
A former top prospect in the Padres system, Urias made his major-league debut in 2018. In 2019, the 22-year-old batted .223/.329/.326 with eight doubles, four homers and one triple in 71 contests. He started 41 games at shortstop, 26 at second base and one at third.
Urias was sidelined after he injured his left hand in winter ball and underwent surgery.
The Brewers signed Morrison to a minor-league deal in the offseason. Morrison appeared in nine games for Milwaukee and went 3 for 25 (.120 average) with one double, one homer and two RBI.
Milwaukee opens a three-game series against the Minnesota Twins on Monday night.
