Job Description

• The primary role of the Business Development Officer is to prospect for new clients by networking, digital marketing, advertising or other means of generating interest from potential clients. He/she must then plan persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients to do business with the company.
• He/she must be able to prepare social media calendar, make use of Corel draw and other editor apps, ability to create attractive contents, must have contacts in media field – digital & tradomedia, highly organised, able to create and drive campaigns, tech savvy.
• Strategic planning is a key part of this job description, since it is the business Officer’s responsibility to develop the pipeline of new business coming in to the company.
• This requires a thorough knowledge of the market, the solutions/services the company can provide.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business.
• Preparation and Monitoring of Social Media Calendar.
• Content creation to meet with the requirements of the Business
• Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization.
• Research and build relationships with new clients.
• Set up meetings between client decision makers and company’s practice leaders/Principals.
• Work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives

Skills / Education / Experience

• Minimum 3- 4 years Proven work experience in similar role, experience in a similar environment is an added advantage.
• Ability to make use of Corel draw and other editing apps.
• Ability to create attractive contents for our digital space
• Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
• Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently.
• Bachelor’s Degree qualification.
