We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Business Development Executive – Construction
Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Job Type: Full-time
Job Descriptions
- Identify and develop relationships with industry professionals to generate new business opportunities.
- Create and expand Banksome’s footprint and build positive top of mind awareness.
- Attend industry events and other meetings to stay abreast of market conditions, competition, and establish relationships with existing clients and prospects.
- Provide ongoing progress updates on new business development activities and other key indicators to the Banksome’s management team.
- Coordinate and assist in the proposal process with Banksome’s project management teams.
- Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
Qualifications
- Candidates who possess a Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 5 years of previous sales experience building relationships and expanding a client base in the commercial market. Preferably selling specialty construction services or products / services to the commercial market, to include calling on owners, engineers, and general contracting firms.
- Strong knowledge of the Nigerian construction market (including engineering firms, property management firms, building owners, general contractors, architects, etc.)
- Track record of success in meeting and exceeding sales goals / quotas utilizing a CRM system.
- Solid understanding of sales process with the ability to explain that process from identification of opportunity through close of sale.
- Candidates who possess previous construction or restoration experience will be given preference.
