We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Business Development Manager
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Develop a growth strategy for the company and it’s affiliates focused on financial gains and customer retention.
- Responsible for generating new business and ideas while managing the existing ones to ensure profitability and sustainability.
- Achieve sales objectives by providing direction and execution of all marketing, Public Relations and Communications
- Coordinating and directing all company activities of sales and relationship management to ensure optimal achievement of set revenue targets on a year-on-year basis.
- Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options and resolving internal priorities.
- Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new ventures with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners’ needs and goals.
- Understand the Company’s goal and purpose so that it will continually enhance the Company’s financial performance.
- Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
- Provide or suggest new services or product and innovative sales techniques to increase customer satisfaction.
- Any other duties assigned by HOD as per need.
Requirements
- Must reside in Lagos.
- Bachelors Degree in Business Management or any other related discipline.
- Professional qualification is an advantage.
- Minimum of 8 years experience in business development and sales position.
- Experience working collaboratively in decision-making processes with senior business executives.
- Must possess intermediate to advanced MS Office skills.
- Must be able to work under pressure and deliver work in accordance with agreed timelines.
