We are recruiting to fill the position of:

Location: Nigeria

Job Description

  • As a Business Development Manager at Stellaris, you will be crucial to the company’s success.
  • Your role as a Business Development Manager, you will lead, drive, and manage the business development team to generate business and project opportunities, increase sales, provide on-time and cost-effective delivery of services, and ensure regional goals are attained.
  • Your primary geographic location will be Northern Nigeria.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, formulate, and implement marketing and sales strategies to identify, target, qualify, and secure customers for all Stellaris solutions including; Independent Engineering, energy efficiency, turnkey construction, and renewable technology project opportunities.
  • Source and generate leads; Build and manage strong customer relationships
  • Direct and take ownership of the engagement efforts with new potential customers for the company’s asset management services and software
  • Negotiate and close revenue contracts
  • Manage cross-selling strategies with existing customers
  • Foster a collaborative environment within the organization
  • Develop and direct new product ideas and strategies based on market feedback

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Must have 5+ recent experience selling to industrial and agricultural clients in Northern Nigeria
  • Self-starter that can come up to speed quickly.
  • Strong negotiating and deal-making skills.
  • Demonstrated ability and track record of delivering against targets
  • Results-oriented with outstanding communication, organisation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels, especially C-level, well presented and articulate
  • Superior networking skills with a sense of ownership and accountability
  • Detail-oriented and focused.
  • Proven record of clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid International passport and ability to travel locally and internationally
  • Proficiency using Word, Excel, and Microsoft Project
