Cuanu Pharmacy, a new pharmacy in GRA, Benin City, Edo State, the pharmacy is a patient/client- centered practice and it offers new perspectives in community pharmacy. The pharmacy is located in a clean and safe neighbourhood, and it offers an opportunity for career development and advancement.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Officer

Location: Benin City, Edo

Responsibilities

• Meets sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements and preparing proposals
• Allocates targets and monitor performance while motivating team to reach targets
• Reports to the Director to establish sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota in support of set goals.
• Personally observe the performance of sales staff on a weekly basis.
• Builds and maintains rapport with key customers while identifying new customer opportunities
• Implement trade promotions by publishing, tracking, and evaluating trade spending
• Recommend product lines by identifying new product opportunities, and/or product, packaging, and service changes; surveying consumer needs and trends; tracking competitors
• Ensures the Director is kept abreast with developments especially in relation to customer visits, quoting, forecasting and similar information
• Maintains honesty, integrity, confidentiality, and high levels of efficiency and accuracy at all times
• Undertake other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Pharmacy, or any other health science program Marketing or Natural Sciences
• Minimum of 2 years experience in marketing, especially in pharmaceutical business sector
• Strong business acumen
• Excellent leadership, communication and selling skills; Negotiation and presentation skills
• Problem solving/analysis
• Results driven.
