Buxton homers again, Twins top Red Sox 4-3
Michael Pineda pitched two scoreless innings, Byron Buxton hit another home run and the Minnesota Twins topped the Boston Red Sox 4-3 in a spring training game Friday.

Pineda, who signed with the Twins on Dec. 13, 2017, has spent more than a year recovering from Tommy John surgery and a torn meniscus.
The veteran right-hander looked sharp in his first outing for the Twins, allowing just one hit in two scoreless innings.
Buxton’s homer was his third of the spring.
Eddie Rosario also homered for the Twins, while LaMonte Wade capped a big eighth inning with a two-run single that put Minnesota in front.
Ryne Harper pitched the ninth, striking out two.
Blake Parker, Addison Reed, Trevor May, Taylor Rogers, Tyler Duffey and Trevor Hildenberger also pitched for the Twins.
