Canisius looks for home win vs Quinnipiac

BOTTOM LINE: Canisius looks for its fourth straight win over Quinnipiac at Koessler Athletic Center. The last victory for the Bobcats at Canisius was a 78-76 win on Dec. 5, 2015.

SQUAD LEADERSHIP: The play-making Malik Johnson has averaged 13.4 points, 6.2 rebounds and six assists to lead the charge for the Golden Griffins. Majesty Brandon has complemented Johnson and is maintaining an average of 12.5 points per game. The Bobcats have been led by Rich Kelly, who is averaging 17.3 points and 4.3 assists.

DEFENSIVE IMPROVEMENTS: The Bobcats have given up just 67 points per game to conference opponents so far, an improvement from the 72.2 per game they gave up over 10 non-conference games.
