Cardinals re-assign four players from St. Louis to Springfield
The St. Louis Cardinals re-assigned four players to their alternate training site in Springfield on Thursday.
Summer camp in Springfield, home of the Cardinals’ Double-A affiliate, opens Thursday.
The players sent from St. Louis to Springfield are pitchers Seth Elledge, Rob Kaminsky and Zack Thompson and catcher Ivan Herrera.
