Caufield records hat trick, No. 5 Badgers trounce Ohio State 7-0
Cole Caufield showed off his skills yet again in the No. 5-ranked Wisconsin Badgers 7-0 win over the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Caufield now has 22 goals in 26 games this season.

The Montreal Canadiens’ prospect scored his 20th goal of the season in the first period. That gave Wisconsin a 1-0 lead into the first intermission.

Caufield struck again 37 seconds into the second period for his second goal of the game.

Dylan Holloway and Ty Emberson supplied two more goals in the frame to put the Badgers up 4-0 after 40 minutes.
Caufield snuck the puck into the net to clinch the hat trick with 18:01 left in the third period. Ty Pelton-Byce added two more goals in the period to make it 7-0.
